Boiling Water In Just 5 Seconds! With 2600w of heating power you can have boiling water in as little as 5 seconds. The easy fill machine holds a whopping 4 litre of water and measures 33.8cm high with a footprint of 20cm x 19cm, making it compact enough to sit neatly on top of your kitchen worktop or in the office kitchen.

5 Heat Settings, 3 Volume Settings: Choose one of the pre-programmed heat settings between 55 and 100 degrees to make the perfect cuppa. Boiling water can destroy the flavour of tea leaves so it is better to use hot water instead, and with this machine you won’t need to guess. You can also set the machine to dispense 100ml, 200ml or 300ml, or manually control the amount of water dispensed, ideal to fill a saucepan for cooking vegetables, pasta, rice etc.

Includes 2 X Aqua Optima Universal Water Filters: The water is filtered using an Aqua optima Universal Water Filter that can filter up to 150 litres of water in its lifetime. There’s two filters included with your Andrew James Hot Water Dispenser so you have a spare to start with. The machine will also work with a variety of other universal filters.

Working nicely. Good for my wife as she struggles to hold heavy objects.

To add to the many poor reviews given to this product, I have had this machine for three months now which is long enough to know that it is not the best machine available for the money. The problem with customer reviews on Amazon is that many are written when goods are ‘boxfresh’.

I confirm that the machine is very erratic in measuring out the water it supplies and that the temperature of the water is lower than expected. Tea tastes horrible made with this machine.

I also confirm that the machine spits leaving instant coffee stains on work surfaces and walls – and all over your hands too which scalds.

But one worrying aspect is that it leaks – the work surface is always wet. Water drips from behind the display panel, down the inside of the cabinet and the bottom of the machine is always wet. Tea, sugar, flour and breakfast cereals were all soaked and ruined. The base has four suction cups which means it limpets itself to the work surface making it hard to move to mop up the leaks.

The other more worrying aspect is that it has on two occasions now, tripped the fuse box and cut the electricity to the kitchen.

If you contact Amazon customer services they will send you a returns label and apologise for not being able to replace the item and clearly state they will refund the price and postage costs when the goods are returned, but beware as the seller Andrew James may not process the return or pay any return postage costs unless you have specifically contacted them in advance of returning the product. Furthermore, don’t expect a refund if the item was delivered more than 30 days ago. They absolutely rule that out and will only offer a replacement. Perhaps this is something a Trading Standards officer might look at. Where a customer pays for goods to one supplier (Amazon) operating under one set of rules and finds themselves being dealt with under a different set of rules if they have problems by another supplier (Andrew James).

Given all of the poor reviews, I fear I am about to begin a cycle of receiving and then having to return machine after machine which will be irritating for me and not very profitable for Andrew James in the long run.

This is not the first product I have bought from Andrew James – but it will be the last.
