Whoever designed this product’s wiring logic should be fired.

We didn’t particularly want the speakers, but ok nice to have. They sound good.
However the speakers and the light are both wired together into the same switch and both have to be activated by a ‘too-clever’ handwave which has to be turned on at the mirror every time you turn it off and on again at the wall (it has no memory of its previous state). So every time you switch the light off at the wall outside the bathroom, and then back on again, the light doesn’t come on. You have to walk all the way to the mirror (at the other end of a narrow bathroom in the dark in the middle of the night perhaps) to switch it on with a swish of your hand, having already turned it on at one switch. At which point an incredibly loud noise alerts you to the speakers switching on (because you can’t turn the light on or off without the speakers turning on/off), waking anyone lightly sleeping nearby – or so it seems, and certainly making you jump if barely awake in the middle of the night. You cannot turn the light on with this loud ‘Bddlerip!’ noise.

    Here’s how it should work:
    1. Speakers and light need to be on a separate switch. Handwave or button I don’t care.
    2. Light needs to permanently toggle on/off when you switch it at the mirror so the wall switch outside the bathroom actually works to switch it on/off.

If the light was wired into the demister switch not the speaker switch that would solve all the problems. Change that and it gets 5 stars.

A perfectly good mirror and light otherwise but as it is, a daily annoyance.
